Hookah recipe Apple «cup»

Preparation of hookah blend«Apple cup» requires one fresh green apple. Apple needs to be a median size and hard, this is needed for keeping the form of «cup» when the core of the apple is cut. Use special knife for cutting the core out. Then the top part of the apple appox. 1.5 cm should be cut horizontally so it becomes plane.
Next you need to make a cone inside the apple so the borders are not very thin, otherwise apple will be baked and will juice out. The cone has to be about half size of an apple deep. . Main condition – is that the apple should fit inside the hookah and without falling in it.
There is one problem left – when you place a tobacco it will fall inside the hookah, in order to prevent this you need a filter made of the same apple. You need a slice of an apple sized 2x2cm and 3-5mm thick with holes to it keeps the tobacco and lets the air through. The filter should be placed inside the cone. The «cup» is ready.
Tobaccos accurately and thoroughly cut with a knife, mixed and placed inside « the cup», without pressing. Distance between the foil and tobacco should be not more than a little finger thickness. Consider that amount of tobacco taken should be bigger than regular «dosage».
What’s left is to cover «the cup» with foil of median thickness folded into two and fix it around the perimeter with tooth picks. In the middle of the foil you should make a few holes with a needle. The coal should be placed at the middle of the foil, otherwise the apple will be baked and juice out that will disturb the smoking of a hookah.

You need a small round melon for this recipe.
Cut the melon in half, take the seed out and cut a round hole in the middle slightly smaller than hookah shaft, make the filter out of toothpicks or use special net.
Place inside the improvised «cup» chopped tobacco blend without pressing. The distance between the tobacco and foil should not be greater than 1cm. Squeeze the second part of the melon and pour the juice on top of the tobacco blend.
Cover «the cup» with double layers of foil. Fix the foil around the perimeter with toothpicks, make 6-8 holes with a needle.

The best is to sit or lay down on the floor, if the environment allows it, for instance, on soft pillows, low chairs. To make «a Milk lake» you need low fat milk and strawberries. Recommended fat level of milk should not exceed 1%. If you don’t have fresh berries, you may use frozen berries or syrup. To make «an Orange world» you will need medium orange, so it fits the hookah shaft. Orange is one third cut and a shaft is cut out inside of the fruit, the cork stays on the fruit – some fibers and pieces with juice should stay on the cork as well. At the bottom of the fruit you need to cut an opening which needs to be closed with a filter, so tobacco does not fall through inside the shaft. The filter could be made out of thin slice of lemon or apple; its thickness should not exceed 2mm. Lemon filter is installed in the middle so only fiber would remain and the air could pass through. Apple filter is made like a net, worst case scenario a simple net could be used as a filter.

Cut tobacco blend is poured with squeezed orange and lemon juice (just a few drops). It is also recommended to add grated lemon or orange cork. To improve the taste 3-4 berries of grapes may be squeezed on top of the tobacco blend. Orange cup is covered with a foil and 15-20 holes are made in it, foil could be attached by toothpicks.

To make «a cherry twilight» you will need concentrated cherry juice, red grapes and sweet red apple. Cherry juice should be kept in a freezer almost until it is frozen. Hookah bowl is filled with cherry juice, crushed ice and 4-5 squeezed grape berries. Red apple is peeled and cut into cubes not bigger than 1x1cm which are also placed inside the bowl with the juice. Prepared tobacco blend is also cut but not into small pieces – you need to have bigger pieces to get a stronger aroma. It is not recommended to smoke hookah with cigarettes or with alcohol – you may lose the effect of bliss and satisfaction and intoxication may increase. Definitely, nothing bad will happen to a cigarette smoker, only other tobaccos with stronger scents will interfere with delicate taste of Arabian hookah. If there is not other way to be without cigars or cigarettes they should not be lit from burning hookah coal.

Hookah recipe Lemon apple

To make this hookah you will need an apple cup or specially prepared mix, freshly squeezed orange juice, apple pulp and some cinnamon. The best apple would be green with sour taste. You need to cool the lemon juice and add some water, apple pulp and some cinnamon. Everything is mixed thoroughly but with the water you need to control the consistency of the mix – you need to get very thick liquid. Tobacco is added to the mix afterwards. Do not blend the tobaccos before you put them inside the mix, for the best results try to spread the tobacco by layers. You may also add some milk into the mix – just one table spoon will be enough.

To make « Cuckoo nest » you will need median pineapple, where you need to cut in order to place the tobacco blend. Cut the pineapple into two, take the pulp out (you will need it for the juice later) – the walls of your cup should be no less than 2cm, make a hole in the bottom portion which is slightly smaller that hookah shaft. For the normal performance of your cut, you will need a filter, made of a slice of an apple with holes or standard net, so the tobacco does not fall inside the shaft. To make «Lemon freshness» you will need a large lemon, so it does not fall into hookah shaft. Peel a slim layer of the lemon cork so its oils would not burn while smoking and interfere with tobacco aroma. One third cut lemon should be emptied from slices but not until the cork – take out only the center portion. Lemon is also cut from the bottom where the filter is placed.

Filter is made of thin round of lemon,1,5-2mm in thickness, fibers should be pushed through so only cell dividers stay on it, and placed inside the lemon so it would conduct the air through. Tobacco blend accurately placed on top of the filter along with one lemon leaf which will enforce the lemon aroma of the blend. Squeeze few drops of lemon on top of the blend and add few cubes of ice, then cover the cup with foil so the distance between the blend and foil is 1cm, add one more lemon leaf with coal before you burn a hookah which will give a stronger scent of lemon in your hookah.

The liquid inside the bowl should be cooled, so the aroma of hookah tobacco and fruit scents felt better. For the best results add ice in it. if you want to amplify the aroma add some fat free milk or fruit juice inside the bowl. You may also make some experiments with lemon and mint which have correlating tastes and scents.

To make this hookah you will need apple or melon cup, but you may also be ok without them. You need to freeze a pack with a tropical juice until small pieces of ice have been received. Add juice with water, crushed ice inside the hookah bowl, add some lemon powder. Tobacco blend has to consist of three kinds of tobaccos, which are placed next to each other without being mixed. Tobaccos need to be separated with foil. The cup is covered with foil and random holes are made of a median diameter – it is recommended to make 12 holes closer to the edge of the cup.

Hookah recipe Lemon freshness, tart pear

To make «Tart pear» you need a large hard pear, preferably green, one third of the pear is cut along with the cutting and a cone is cut out inside of it. Try not to damage the pulp of the pear and leave the size of the walls no less than 1cm, at the bottom of the pear an opening is made so it would stay on the hookah and would not fall inside of it. As a filter you may use a slice of a pear – with holes in it, so the air would go through it.

Precut and premixed tobacco blend is placed inside the bowl. It is important not to press the tobacco. Pour some cherry or grape juice on top of the tobacco and also add a few drops of pear juice. The cup is covered with double layer of foil, it is preferable to attach one more layer of foil around the cone so the pear would not bake and lose its shape, for the same reasons the coal should be placed in the middle of foil. You may also add a cherry leaf that will give some tartness to a pear aroma.
